R.A. Jump Construction, Inc. has been building custom homes in the Ithaca, NY area since 1985. We have built some of the area's most distinctive homes and were recently featured in the "Houses" issue of Fine Homebuilding, the premier national custom home magazine. That house, which can be seen above, was built for a local architect.
We have built our reputation on careful attention to detail and customer satisfaction. Our focus is on building quality energy-efficient homes using the latest in materials and methods of home construction. We are a certified Energy Star-Labeled Home Builder and have completed a number of homes that have qualified with their highest rating of energy efficiency. We use materials and techniques that are consistent with the "green building" philosophy of home construction, as well as Radon-Resistant new construction methods.
Owner/builder, Richard Jump, believes in quality construction, and as such, is involved with each construction project. This small company builds one house at a time, so there are no delays due to conflicting projects. Richard supervises his skilled carpenters and oversees all work by sub-contractors. He will work directly with you, the customer, to ensure you are completely satisfied with your custom-built home. References are available upon request.
